Marilyn Rea Nasky is an award winning watercolorist and painter who is currently a resident artist at Austin Art Space Gallery and Studios in Austin, Texas. Her work is a reflection of her rich and varied life experience which has taken her to some of the most beautiful places on planet earth, including Wyoming, the Four Corners region of the USA, Hawaii, and currently Central Texas.
Her current work in acrylics is an exploration of organic form which invites the view into an enriching experience of shape, form, texture and tantalizing color. The Agave Series is now expanding to include other Texas flora, and the trees of Texas, Colorado, and Hawaii. Other recurring themes are landscape and abstraction based on landscape, as seen in her Sacred Earth Series.
